LAUREN & BOBBY MARRIED!
Anyone who has ever planned a wedding knows that wedding planning can be a monumental task for any couple, but when you add new regulations stemming from a global pandemic, it goes from challenging to fraught. However, the pandemic did not stop Lauren and Bobby from have the wedding and reception of their dreams!
Lauren and Bobby were married on May 23, 2020, and with great detail to all the new regulations, held their reception on August 28, 2020 at Debbie’s Celebration Barn in Oskaloosa. Beautifully decorated table’s were aligned 6′ apart. Every seating had a packet of silverware and a napkin sealed perfectly in a plastic cover. A separate pen was placed beside a neatly designed menu. The fruit and/or vegetable sides were waiting in sealed containers for choosing with your meal. The bride, groom and wedding party equipped with gloves and masks served the guests safely. I am in awe of the way these two had every aspect of their reception purposely designed for the safety of their family and guests.
Lauren and Bobby did an absolutely amazing job decorating for their reception at Debbie’s Celebration Barn and if you have not had a look inside this venue, you will have to do so because it is absolutely amazingly beautiful! Lauren and Bobby handcrafted the books atop half of the tables and the other half decorated with little lanterns and flower boxes. All of their decorations blended in beautifully with the design and layout of the venue.
One of the funnest comments of the night came from the best man stating “you better do this right “cause I’m not coming back for a third time!” After the meal, toasts and cake cutting the entire wedding party and guests enjoyed the music provided by Elijah Slagter–DJ Slate.
Lauren and Bobby it was an absolute honor to capture your reception for you. I have no doubt that you two have the kind of love that will last forever and I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
