Everyone should know by now that I could go on and on about my couples and all the beautiful things that make them AMAZING! Ashlee and Zach are so amazing! I felt instantly connected with Ashlee & Zach throughout their entire wedding planning. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate couples that stay in contact with me and keep me updated on every detail and Ashlee was that bride! I believe their wedding fell on one of the hottest days of the year, yet you could not tell it by looking at this couple and their love, smiles and playfulness throughout the day. Ashlee and Zach’s wedding took place at the beautiful Willow Brook Barn in Colo, Iowa. Ashlee started out with her makeup being done by Sara – I Do Pretty and getting her hair styled by Chandler Koenen. The bridesmaids were styled by Christina Wilson. These ladies did an amazing job! Ashlee and her girls looked amazing the entire day in spite of the heat! These ladies really know what they are doing!
Ashlee & Zach were troopers throughout the day, as well as their entire wedding party. There was not one complaint from anyone about the heat all day…not one! Trust me, it was HOT! So hot that Ashlee and Zach took special care of their guests by having them stay in the air conditioned venue enjoying the beautiful decorated venue until just before the ceremony was to begin. Then each guest was escorted out to their seat to witness this beautiful couple say I do. Ashlee walked down the aisle in a beautiful wedding gown from Pure Bridal and she looked stunning! Upon Ashlee and Zach’s kiss to seal their marriage, they were showered with confetti by their wedding party. So fun! The wedding party then entered the reception full of fun spins and turns followed by the bride and groom. A delicious meal was prepared and served by the couples amazing family. Toasts were made and everyone enjoyed dancing to the music by DJ Heather Baker.
Congratulations Ashlee and Zach! It was a joy to photograph your day. I wish you love, peace and happiness throughout your marriage.
