It was a beautifully sunny day for Mitchel and Elisa’s wedding. Mitchel & Elisa had an intimate country wedding shared with family and friends at the home of Mitchel’s grandfather. They stood in the shade of overarching limbs from a beautiful old oak tree as they spoke their vows, the Breeze softly moving the leaves around them making a music of its own kind. There is something so impossibly sweet and timeless about a couple tying their vows under ageless branches of nature.
THE RINGS
Mitchel & Elisa’s wedding rings were gifted to them by Mitchel’s grandfather, a sentiment that unsurprisingly meant the world to both of them. His grandmother sadly passed away just the previous year and Mitchel and Elisa wanted to honor them by being married on the same day as Mitchel’s grandparents and with the same rings they exchanged on their own wedding day. Elisa and Mitchel were blessed with a beautiful family on each side. I had the absolute best time meeting them and sharing moments of memories and history with Mitchel’s father.
THE UNION
After the exchange of vows, a wedding lasso was placed over Mitchel and Elisa by Crystal and Esteban, sister and brother of Elisa, as a symbol of their everlasting union. WIth the placement of this knot on the couple, their future was sealed.
Elisa and Mitchel’s colors were all things wildflower. Elisa walked down the aisle in a beautiful custom white wedding gown and Mitchel wore a Blue Herringbone suit from Sharp suites by Alana.
