Elizabeth and Gage are married! Elizabeth and Gage booked their wedding at the Valley View Event Center in Moulton, Iowa many months ago. Their plan was to have an outside wedding on April 11, 2020, which would include all of their family and friends and end with a glorious reception to celebrate.
With the date inching closer and closer, they watched while venues were mandated to cancel any upcoming events. The number of people allowed in a gathering was gradually shrinking until it was inevitable that Elizabeth and Gage would have to either reschedule altogether or make other plans for their big day. With that being said, these two decided their original wedding day would stand; they would be married on April 11th, 2020 – one way or the other!
Elizabeth and Gage held a wedding day just as beautiful and special as their original plans. The couple held their wedding at Gage’s grandparents’ farm so they could watch through the glass as these two joined hands and exchanged promises at the end of the aisle. A few family members pulled up alongside the driveway and smiled through their windows as they watched and listened to the ceremony broadcasted over a specific radio station. In this way, family was still a special part of the wedding.
Elizabeth was escorted up the aisle in her gorgeous strapless, finely-beaded wedding gown from Affinity Bridal to her groom waiting in his tux of grey and lavender. The beautiful bouquet clutched in her hands was a mixture of lavender and soft greens. Elizabeth and Gage joined hands before Nate Binning, Uncle of the Groom, who had stepped in to marry them, and suddenly it didn’t seem to matter the circumstances in which they were being married; all that mattered is that they were!
In this way, they spoke their vows. There was something magical about seeing the determination of both these two and their family to do whatever it took to ensure Elizabeth and Gage’s union took place. There is no doubt Elizabeth and Gage will have a unique yet still wonderful story to tell their children about the day they got married.
The love between this couple is amazing and I am so honored to be a part of their day. Congratulations, Elizabeth and Gage! I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
