Wow! It’s been a whirlwind of photographing some pretty amazing weddings for me! I couldn’t be more blessed and honored to photograph each and every one of them. Alyssa and Ben were just the sweetest and their wedding at River View Lodge was absolutely AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL!

Funny story about a few photos for Alyssa and Ben. We had a room prepared to photograph their getting ready photos in. However, we occasionally wanted to step out the door and grab a few great shots. Well let me tell you, a little bird had a different idea. Every time we stepped out the door to grab a photo that little but very mighty and determined bird would swoop down and attack us. I can only assume she was a momma and had a nest on the roof of the building that we were getting a little to close for comfort for momma bird. It certainly gave Alyssa and Ben something to remember about their wedding day and a good laugh at us trying to get those photos!

Shortly after Alyssa and Ben had their first look and their special vows read, the rain started in. A little worry went into thinking about the outside ceremony that was planned, but mother nature was on Alyssa and Ben’s side. Yep, you guessed it, the rain stopped and we were able to capture some pretty awesome shots as well as Alyssa and Ben’s outside ceremony went as planned. Let me tell ya, it was beautiful!! Iris and Ivy did an amazing floral arrangement at the alter, and Alyssa carried the most gorgeous bouquet of flowers consisting of roses in a variety of pinks, peach, fuchsia and ivory and a few added other bright colored flowers and greenery. Simply gorgeous!!

Alyssa and Ben had a fabulous reception with live music by DJ, Vows and Vibes and a fabulous meal prepared and served by Bridges Catering. Alyssa and Ben were surrounded by the most loving and caring family and friends throughout their day! Not only could I see how much they cared and loved Alyssa and Ben but they were all so very sweet, caring and helpful to myself and my assistant.
