Peyton and Nicholas are the sweetest couple to photograph. They are naturals at posing and our conversations just flowed throughout their engagement session. I had such a great time photographing these two.
Peyton and Nicholas met in college whilst Peyton and her roommate toured around campus meeting other students and faculty. Peyton and Nicholas have been inseparable ever since. For seven years, Peyton and Nicholas’ love continued growing.
Nicholas proposed at Iowa State University, the very place they met. At midnight there is a tradition of kissing under the Campanale on central campus. Peyton had a suspicion that Nicholas was going to propose at that moment. However he didn’t,
but instead surprised her with a table set up by the lake with the ring and some wine placed on the table. Nicholas’ sister had flown in from Tennessee to set everything up for them. Nicholas got down on his knee and proposed to Peyten. Peyton
recalls it was the “perfect embodiment of the two of them as a couple,” and “after seven years, it was everything I could’ve hoped for and more.” How perfect is their story!!
Peyton and Nicholas will be married on August 24, 2024, one day before their one-year anniversary as a couple.
