I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter couple than Aly and James. I loved working with this couple and photographing their special day!
Aly and James had their wedding and reception at the beautiful Country Lane Lodge in Adel, Iowa. Aly and James wanted the traditional walk down the aisle first look, so before the ceremony, we positioned James where he could not see his bride and the two of them shared a private moment sharing their own personal vows. I love that they chose this time to just be together in the moment and share their vows.
Aly walked down the aisle in a beautiful wedding gown from Weddings by design. Her bouquet of flowers were made of white daisy’s, babies breath and greenery with a few other additions. Aly’s bouquet was just gorgeous and even more special to her and James because Aly’s grandmother designed and made the bouquet especially for her. In fact, Aly’s grandmother made all of the flowers for the couple’s wedding. So special! Aly and James colors were navy blue and Burgundy.
HyVee Catering prepared the meal for the couple and their guests and thereafter the wedding party and guest enjoyed a night filled with conversation and dancing.
